Employment opportunities
It’s estimated that Marinus Link will create 1,400 direct and indirect jobs, and attract $1.5 billion in investment to the Gippsland region during the peak construction phase from 2025.
With similar activity in Tasmania, the combined jobs and investment opportunity across Victoria and Tasmania will be around 2,800 direct and indirect jobs and $3 billion of regional investment.
By working with government, industry and skills bodies, we aim to maximise the social, economic and employment opportunities for regional communities from further development of the renewables sector.
